Optimist Fantasy of Lights 2011!!!

This year promises to be our biggest and best Fantasy yet! We are looking for exhibitors. There's no charge for this, just good holiday fun. If you or someone you know is looking for a good outlet to let loose some of your pent up Christmas spirt, look no further. All you need to do is supply the lights. Optimist Trees

Thanks to all those who supported the youth of Uxbridge by purchasing an Optimist Christmas Tree last year! As usual our tree sales were a great success. Also, thanks to the wonderful staff at Canadian Tire for their support! Trees will be on sale again this year at Canadian Tire for $50. Our trees are grown on a farm in Quebec and we take great pride in the quality that we have been able to provide for several years running. Who We Support

The Optimist Club of Uxbridge supports local youth in many different ways. We are proud to support and sponsor two of our towns most influencial youth organizations, among many others.

Uxbridge Youth Centre

The Uxbridge Youth Centre is located in the heart of town. After a long journey by many dedicated volunteers, they recently opened their doors to the youth of Uxbridge in October of 2008. Since then, they have done tremendous work in support of the community's youth. The Optimist Club is proud to continue to support the Youth Centre. 1st Uxbridge Scouts

The 1st Uxbridge Scout Group was established in 1922. Never have they been more relevant and active than they are today. Each year the Scouts impress the community with amazing new accomplishments. We are proud to be their official Sponsor. CLICK HERE to learn more about the 1st Uxbridge Scouts.

Skate Park Now

The Optimist Club of Uxbridge proudly supports this initiative put forth by some our town's most enterprizing and creative young minds. CLICK HERE to learn more about the movement by youth for youth to build a skateboard park that will be the envy of all durham.
