Beginning on Friday, December 2, 2011, the Optimist Club will once again be selling the best trees in town. To get your Optimist Christmas Tree, come to Canadian Tire anytime during business hours. Trees are $50 each. If you'd like to have a local friendly Optimist tie the tree on top of your car for you, come see us on the weekend between 10am and 6pm.

Each spring the Optimist Club of Uxbridge hosts the hottest lottery in Town; the Duck Derby. It's a fun filled day for children ages 0 to 100. Food, drinks and all the activities are free. Activities include pony rides, face painting, balloon bouncers, live entertainment and much more. And of course, who could forget the 5000 ducks racing down the river. It all takes place in the heart of town at Centennial Park. Each year our lucky winners walk away with thousands of dollars in cash prizes.
